Registered Physiotherapist

I graduated with a Baccalaureate of Science in Physical Therapy from Laval University in 1999. All my clinical experience is in the assessment and treatment of orthopaedic conditions.

I have a passion for continuing education and manual therapy. I received my Advanced Diploma in Manual and Manipulative Physiotherapy in 2005 and my Level 1 Anatomical Acupuncture Certificate in 2007. I completed a certification in Integrative Systemic Dry Needling in 2012.

I have most recently taken courses in Cranio-Sacral therapy, Visceral Manipulations and osteopathy (Mechanical Link).

  • Anatomical Acupuncture is a variation of Traditional Chinese Medicine. It has been developed to allow health care practitioners to use needling within their scope of practice. Each acupuncture point is mapped out on meridians and has a specific function (eg: points for back pain, tennis elbow, headaches, etc.).
  • Integrative Dry Needling is a technique that helps manage pain caused by soft tissue dysfunction. It is used mostly on trigger points, but is not limited to a set number of points.
  • Cranio-Sacral therapy and Visceral Manipulations use very light forces to release abnormal tension around the organs and in the nervous system, stretch fascia and promote self-correction.
  • The Mechanical Link is a comprehensive protocol that assesses most of the bones, joints, organs, nerves and blood vessels in the body. The goal is to find the source of the dysfunction, from inside out.
