Delete Disney Plus Viewing History: Aside from its extensive collection, Disney Plus has one of the most user-friendly interfaces. It leverages your prior watching history to offer similar content to provide a personalized experience. However, this customization tool may not be ideal for others if you share accounts. Furthermore, the Watchlist allows others to see what you’ve been watching.
Removing content from Disney Plus’s “because you watched” a section is an efficient approach to disabling the customizing option. Changing your watch history is also ideal for personal reasons, such as when you don’t want other users to know what type of content you’ve been streaming. So, how can you delete your Disney Plus viewing history? Disney Plus, unlike other platforms, does not allow you to view or erase your viewing history. However, if you wish to manage your Watchlist, there is a workaround.
If your account has multiple users, you can create multiple profiles. Alternatively, you may add movies to your Watchlist and checkmark them as watched. If you checkmark an item, the Disney Plus algorithm will be fooled. Other options for deleting Disney Plus viewing history include:
1. Checkmark Shows, Movies, And TV Series On Your Watchlist
You can use a checkmark to select shows, movies, and TV series from the list because you can’t clear the Continue Watching list on Disney Plus while you’re on the move. By deleting an item from your Watchlist, you’re signaling that you’re not interested in a certain area of the platform’s algorithm. On a mobile device, you may edit your Watchlist by going to:
1 – Open the app.
2 – Select your profile icon.
3 – Open the WATCHLIST.
4 – Next, select the movies, shows, and TV shows you want to delete.
5 – Click DETAILS.
6 – Click the Tick Icon.
On a web browser, to remove items from your Watchlist:
1 – Go to the Disney Plus website.
2 – Login to your account.
3 – Click WATCHLIST.
4 – Next, select a series of shows or movies you want to delete.
5 – Tap the checkmark (next to the Play icon).
On Xbox, PlayStation, and Apple TV, edit your Watchlist as follows:
1 – On your Xbox, open the Disney Plus app.
2 – Go to WATCHLIST.
3 – Next, select all the movies, TV shows, and shows you want to delete.
4 – Tap the checkmark to confirm.
Disney Plus stops suggesting comparable content once you’ve removed the shows, movies, and TV series from your watch list. This alternate method of deleting watch history can keep other users in the dark about what you’re watching.
2. Create Multiple Profiles For Users
Editing the checklist might be exhausting and time-consuming in some circumstances. You may establish profiles for each user if you’re wary of modifying items on your Watchlist. To make a new mobile profile, follow these steps:
1 – Open the app.
2 – Go to your profile.
3 – Select Edit Profiles.
4 – Click Add Profile.
5 – Select SAVE after entering the profile name.
If you’re on a TV or web browser:
1 – Go to your profile.
2 – Select Edit Profiles.
3 – Click Add Profile.
4 – Select SAVE after entering the profile name.
You don’t need to edit your Watchlist once you’ve created profiles for each user. Each profile will have its Watchlist and watch recommendations. The algorithms of other users will not be affected by one user’s suggestion (or streaming preference).
3. Forward The Movies To The End
Users can view another user’s watch history by heading to the “Continue Watching” list. Thankfully, fast-forwarding through a TV episode, movie, or show removes it off the list; if it’s a movie, fast forward until the credits appear.
If it’s a TV series (and you’re not interested in it), you can fast-forward to the last episode to remove it from the “Continue Watching” list. Then, you may view its subsequent seasons on the Watchlist in some situations. Option #1 should be used if the Disney Plus algorithm proposes other TV show seasons you aren’t interested in.
The 3 options are unrivaled for hiding Disney Plus’s recently viewed list. The best methods to beat the Disney Plus algorithm are to add movies to your Watchlist, create new profiles, and fast-forward through movies. The options are efficient, even though time-consuming, especially if you have a shared account with several users.
